- Girl child issues must be put in the government emergency task team as most girls are more likely to not have access to education and they are most likely to be discouraged from taking Maths and science subjects in school. Programmes of self awareness must be done in school as the girl child faces up to more challenges in life than the boy child but we should neglect the need of the boy child as they need attention in terms of how they feel and what they believe needs to be done about the issues they face.
- Parents should provide emotional and psychological support to their children and the gain knowledge about the importance of having children's rights practiced along with their responsibility as we believe that an acknowledgement of rights by all is the first thing tat society can respect itself and its children.
- Poverty undermines the child future and life and it is the most neglected elements in the child rights section. It can lead a child to put his/her body on sale. This is also made worse by the fact that an unequal threshold in incomes of people in the country is becoming widened even further and as children we see the poverty that other children go through in life and that must be addressed properly by the state. This can only be achieved by a child friendly government and we want our leaders to be critical of that principle.
- Malnutrition is another issue we need to discuss because we cannot have children going to school without food as a result they end up stealing for other children and thus the discrimination and violence begins that it is not the child's intention but they feel like they have no hope.
- (Article 11) of the convention on the rights of the child says that promotion and development of the personality of the child needs to be attended to for reaching full potential. Therefore, the children in Lesotho need to have a children's mandate that will advocate for their rights not only as at the CRC document but as the law of the country and that the judiciary should be developed in that regard.
- The nurturing of the child must be done in school and at the home and through the chieftaincy leadership system and we want leaders whom will be close to children and not just in government structures only.
- Media especially television and radio should develop Programmes that children and youth can participate in that is; they must stop making shows of calling in sending dedications or sending shout outs only instead, make shows where we can engage with each at this level like the parliament has done so we can know that we are not the only children in this situation and alone. And these Programmes must encourage arts and drama festivals where we come and direct our own show so we can perform as well. this should include children making research on the show we want to do on a certain topic.
- Drugs are becoming an issue that needs address and this is because many young people end up resort to drugs when they are being neglected at home and even in school so sometimes the environment we live in make things worse crime sometimes means survival and the truth is that children and young people do not want to be involved in crime it is just the circumstance.
- The issue of war in the region is not helping the status of children because we became the most hard hit and that something must be done about the issue of Zimbabwe by all statesmen the issue affects children in the region and directly resemble the kind of leadership that is flawed and results in child poverty and increases a child's vulnerability to all kinds of social ills.
- Article 2. of the of the CRC holds the jurisdiction of the child growth and development that stakeholders must measure the number of services that are available in terms of resource because it will impend on the discrimination of the child and when state countries do not hold up on this measure they are committing a crime under this article.
- Drugs and other transnational issues need to be addressed as a collective within the SADC community as one country cannot fight against drug organized crime and a strong policing forum should be resent for searching border posts and cargo transit areas.
- Schools should be in partnership with policing forums near them to hold annual forums on the issue of drugs in schools and community; this should be with the help of all civil society projects.
- Schools should teach learners on issues of gender sensitivity and protection that how important it is for young girls and boys learn to protect one another when being threatened by other learners. This initiative should be taught in such a way that both parties can receive the same respect and understanding.
- Discrimination of physically challenged children and youth means that parents and educators must be involved in teaching their children about he challenges that other learners face especially those with disabilities. The stigma that what we see is born by parents not teaching us what is right and wrong.
