Aim of Corporate Indaba •· To institute an annual Strategic Platform with a potential to significantly drive a co-ordinated social development, donor and Corporate-Giving agenda within a shared theory of change. •· To bring together business, community and political Leaders to chart a pathway in enabling development work and support to impact positively on communities Corporate Indaba Target Audience •· Government leaders & Accounting Officers •· Business leaders, CEOs & social Entrepreneurs •· Civil society leaders, development advocates & senior staff •· Research institutions and Universities •· Donor Foundations and UN agencies •· NGOs Corporate Indaba Purpose Statement •· Provide a framework for public, profit and non-profit interests to develop a shared view of the theory of change that is responsive to national development challenges and issues facing the country •· Locate corporate-giving and public policy initiatives within a theory of change that demonstrates desired results Corporate Indaba Strategic Objectives •· To lift discussions from the everyday marketing/PR operational pressures to the strategic level of Leaders of government, business, funding foundations and development agencies Corporate Indaba Pledge •· Honour and pledge to sustain the Fund beyond our lives •· To keep in perpetuity a cause most dear to the founder and chairperson Nelson Mandela, by: Giving more of ourselves, our resources, our efforts and goodwill in order to build a Capital Endowment through the establishment of an annual strategic dialogue called Corporate Indaba.
