Philosophy and Vision
The Children’s Hospital will be established as: An expression of Nelson Mandela’s legacy and operating within national policy as a referral and an independent legal entity “not-for-gain” for children of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) with the backing of community and stakeholder partnership for the rendering of services to private and public patients in need of specialist health care on the basis of a business model that addresses this need whilst ensuring financial sustainability.
