Mr. Ivan Moroke is a seasoned marketing and business leader with more than 25 years of experience in marketing insights, brand strategy, organisational leadership, and strategic business collaboration. His career spans executive roles across leading advertising agencies, insight firms, and strategic consultancies, where he has consistently driven business growth, operational excellence, talent development, and thought leadership.

 

Ivan is the former Chief Executive Officer of Kantar South Africa , where he led the strategic merger of three major divisions, TNS, Millward Brown, and Added Value, into Kantar Insights, transforming the business to be future-fit and achieving sustained growth. Prior to this, he founded Co-Currency , a strategic marketing consultancy rooted in collaboration and insight-led growth for brands navigating complex and dynamic markets.

 

His leadership journey includes senior roles such as CEO and Group Managing Director at TBWA Hunt Lascaris, Group Managing Director at Yellowwood Future Architects, and Managing Director at Lowe Bull Johannesburg, where he revitalised creative performance, built high-performing executive teams, and strengthened the strategic foundations of multiple agencies.

Mr Moroke’s early career includes strategic planning, marketing insights, and consumer engagement roles at Added Value and British American Tobacco South Africa. He is a respected industry contributor, having served as Chairperson of the Brand Council South Africa, Vice-Chairperson of the Association for Communication and Advertising, and Chair of the APEX Awards Judging Committee, where he also received a Lifetime Achievement Award. He currently serves as the Portfolio Chairperson of the Marketing Achievement Awards.

 

He brings extensive board leadership experience and currently serves as Board Chairperson of Heartlines and as a board member of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, Kantar South Africa, and Holy Cross Home.
