Mr Sizwe Nzimande is a seasoned South African sports and media executive with extensive experience in professional football administration and sports broadcasting. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions within some of South Africa’s leading sports institutions, contributing significantly to the growth and professionalisation of the country’s sports industry
He previously served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Premier Soccer League, where he played a key role in supporting the strategic management and operational oversight of South Africa’s top professional football league. In this role, he worked closely with league leadership, football clubs, sponsors, and other stakeholders to strengthen the governance and commercial development of professional football.
M. Nzimande also served as Group Executive: Sport at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), where he oversaw sports broadcasting operations, including the management of sports rights, partnerships with national sporting federations, and the delivery of sports content across television and radio platforms.
He has also been associated with Mamelodi Sundowns F.C., contributing to the club’s administrative and operational functions within one of Africa’s most prominent football institutions.
