The Nelson Mandela Children's Parliament

The Nelson Mandela Children’s Parliament is a platform created to provide children with the invaluable opportunity to express their views in alignment with the protections outlined in the the Children’s Act, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child.

The Nelson Mandela Children’s Parliament (NMCP) initiative was established to celebrate the values, principles and commitment of Mr Nelson Mandela to the children of South Africa, by giving children meaningful opportunities to participate, direct and influence decisions made on their behalf or in their best interest.
